Remember Me?

 

Hello my friends.  I have been out of pocket the last couple of weeks.  Life has been so crazy in a million ways.  I am so sad to report that my sweet father-in-law had a massive stroke, and we have been very busy trying to oversee his care.  Please keep him in your prayers.  We are hoping for a full recovery, but he has several hurdles to cross.    We have had a family trip to Branson planned for several months, so we still decided to take the boys on a quick get-away last week.  They had a lot of fun.  Me???  I had fun, but certainly felt aches and pains from two days at Silver Dollar City.  I was worn out…that is for sure.   Next year, I am requesting a little R and R at the beach.  :)  A girl can dream. 

 

   

 

 

 

    

 

On the Glitter & Bliss front, we are in the process of getting ready for our big June market.  This is our first BIG market, so we are stressed to say the least.  You know us, we always worry about the potential of looking dorky.  To hopefully avoid this, we have been very busy updating our line . It  is going to consist of expanding our crystal pendant collection to include really fun vintage inspired images like these………. 

 

 

We are also adding a new picture frame collection.  Here is a sneak peek……  We will have 5 frames in this collection.  All will be distressed white frames with an image and definition.  We really like them, and think they will look great in our showroom space.

Happy Mother’s Day to All !!!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day tomorrow.  I feel truly blessed to be Ben and Max’s mommy.  They have brought more to my life than I ever thought possible.  I feel like life just began  when I met their daddy and then they came into my world (at the old age of 34 and 36).  For a while there, I thought mommy hood just wasn’t in the cards for me.  I guess God had another plan.   I am so glad he did. 

 

 

I don’t know if you can see them, but the boys got me these cute earrings for the big day.  I love them!!!  I am so terrible about wearing earrings, and my hubby knew that, so these were the perfect gift.  Thank You!!!!

 

 

 

Also, happy Mother’s Day to you Mom!!!  You have gone through so much in the last several years.  I want you to know that I am proud of you, and I know that “Daddy” is watching you from above and is proud of you too.   In the face of unimaginable grief, you handle each day with grace and a loving heart.  What a wonderful Nanny you are to your grandchildren and a great friend to me!!!   We all love you Mom!!!!!

Oh the twist and turns we take in attempting to achieve the perfect hairstyle.   It was so much fun to look back on my hair journey and take a walk down memory lane.  :)))

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Friday!!!   We have friends flying in from New England tomorrow, so we are excited to catch up with them.  I have a lot of cooking and cleaning to do before their plane arrives.  :)
