As you know, Sis and I love using all different shapes and sizes of crystals. These are our new designs that we are adding to our crystal jewelry line. We will continue to have teardrop crystals in both 2 and 2 1/2 inch sizes and our French crystal keychains.
We hope 2010 is your best year ever, filled with many blissful moments.

I have decided to split my little blog into two. Glitter & Bliss is gearing up for a busy 2010. We are adding several new products to our line at the upcoming January Dallas Market. I think it is time to have one blog devoted to business and one for family, friends, decor, fun projects,…you know…. real life “stuff”. My sis thinks I’m crazy to do take this on, considering I haven’t had much time lately to keep up with one little blog. Nevertheless, I plan to give it a try.
Introducing my new blog. All I have is this header, but I think I’m off to a fun start. Visit Frolic & Play next week.

Every year, I get together with sis and my BFF to do a Christmas craft day. This year, we decided to make stockings. The end result is below.
I ordered the linen fabric from www.fabrics-store.com. They have a great selection, and their prices are very reasonable. We added a little detail by using ric rac ribbon under the ruffle and for the hanger, a linen rose for each “girl” stocking, and a letter ornament for each name. We found the letters at Target. They turned out so cute!! We had a great day!!
This was the project from last year.
We bought this large house at Hobby Lobby. We spray painted the house white, covered the roof with newspaper, added silver German glass glitter to the edges of the roof, then added the tinsel wreath above the door. So easy, and so much fun….
Happy Friday to All!!

Every year I imagine my Christmas decor. In my dreams, it looks something like this.
I just love the picture above. The winter wonderland feel is so beautiful. I also love the white slip covered sofas with soft furry throws and neutrals throughout. But, how do you keep decorations and ornaments that are so precious to you, boxed up and not enjoyed? Things like these..
These things all pop with reds and greens. Colors I do love this time of year. I love the above “crafty chick” ornament that sis got me a couple of years ago. Perfect!!!

On to fun gift ideas..
I posted about these nifty hot chocolate pots last year. This is sis’s hot chocolate station. Too cute….and lots of fun for the kids. I gave these away as gifts last year. I just love giving things that can be enjoyed year after year.
This beverage dispenser was a birthday present I gave to myself. When you turn 40, I think you are allowed to “gift” yourself. It is not easy to say good-bye to your 30s, but it is somewhat liberating in the same respect. Weird…I know. I filled my new dispenser with lemonade for Max’s birthday party. The possibilities are endless…
Let us not forget the reason for this wonderful season. The only decoration that “really” matters is above. Deciding to do all winter white or bright decorations doesn’t matter.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful season filled with beautiful sights and sounds of Christmas.

Our little Max turned 4 on the 3rd of December. We had a repeat performance of last year. He wanted another Thomas party, so that is what we had. :)
Happy Birthday honey!! We hope you have a marvelous 4th year.

We are in love with this little store in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. It is darling!!! My sis visited there right before Thanksgiving, and she found some wonderful treasures. This wreath is my favorite, and is now on my Christmas list. Santa, I would like one for each room in my home please. :)
She bought this with just the yellowed book pages, but decided to add some cardstock that highlighted the colors of her home. This cardstock is called “Wisteria” by Basic Grey. We really love it!
If you would like a great tutorial on how to make one of these fabulous wreaths, just go here. Wendy, at the Shabby Nest gives simple steps that will make us all seem like we can pull one of these babies off. This is one of my favorite blogs. I’m sure it is a fav of yours as well.
These precious paper dolls were all over “Something Simple” as well. Kaylene, the owner, is a true paper artist. She gave sis a tutorial on these, so we have been having so much fun making them. Sometimes it is truly like we are back in Kindergarten. These are going to sit around in our showroom space in Dallas. Just too cute!!!
We also feel so blessed that Kaylene placed another order with Glitter & Bliss. She has many linens, towels and cottage frames on the way to her store. How lucky are we!!!
Have a wonderful weekend!!!
