TJ Maxx Love & Humble Pie

 

Sis and I got a little “out and about” time together last Saturday afternoon.  We headed out with the goal of finding the “Perfect” …”Matching” outfit for the Dallas market this weekend.  

Instead, I found these pretty pillows at TJ’s.   I haven’t taken the tags off just yet, because I have been busy trying to decided where to throw them.  They were $19.99 ea.  A great deal considering they have down inserts inside. 

Also, I wanted to mention one of my most favorite blogs..Humble Pie.   I’m sure you have visited Lissa.  She has such a kind spirit.  She is one of those gals you know you’d instantly like,  even before you met her.   “I wish she was my next door neighbor” kinda thing.   She inspires me in so many ways, but mainly with her strong faith in God.   

She also inspires me with her decorating ideas.  The above pic is from Lissa’s blog.  I love this vase!  I even emailed her and asked where she got it.  It was a long ago purchase, so I attempted to make my own.  By looking at the pic above, I haven’t quite mastered its rustic look just yet.  Also, my flowers are from Hobby Lobby, not from my own garden or even my local flower shop.  Oh Well..I still like it. :) 

I used this cute label for my bucket.  One of my favorite finds from the Graphics Fairy.

 

I also love this pic from her blog.  I know so many of us have fallen in love with this area code sign.  

 

 

Lastly, she also expresses her love of the ocean and coastal living by decorating with lovely shells.

Well, I’m off to get two little boys to bed then make a crystal necklace for a friend’s birthday. It has to travel all the way to Rhode Island.  I wish I could go along too.:)
